First-person horror

Townfall is presented entirely in first person, a first for a full-length Silent Hill game.

Exploration, stealth, and combat

St. Amelia is explored from Simon’s first-person view. Encounters support more than one response:

  • Use melee weapons to attack and guard.
  • Keep distance and use firearms when the situation calls for it.
  • Hide, observe an enemy’s position from cover, or use sound to draw danger away.

The official feature description frames these as situational choices. It does not publish a complete weapon list or a universal combat recipe, so this page avoids presenting unreleased mechanics as confirmed.

Narrative puzzles and the CRTV

The CRTV replaces the series’ familiar radio as a pocket television. Tuning it to unstable analogue signals can reveal nearby threats, fragments of the story, and puzzle hints. These clues are tied to narrative exploration: they can let Simon revisit past events and glimpse life on the island rather than functioning as a separate collectible system.

Endings and sound

Player actions are reflected in multiple endings. KONAMI also highlights dynamic sound design: creaks, distorted signals, distant groans, and a soundtrack that changes with player and enemy behavior to support both action and stealth.

Verification
